Eligibility Criteria

To become an insurance agent, you need to fulfil certain criteria:

• Must be a resident of India
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Minimum education qualification is SSE (10th standard)
• Need to have a valid Aadhaar and PAN card

How to become a POS?

• Training:In order to become a POS, minimum 15 hours of training is essential. Choose an insurance company, corporate insurance partner or broker to undergo the training.
• Certification:A certification test is taken by the company responsible for your training.
